Description:

There are 3 painting projects in this elegant blue and white toile bedroom 

First,  blue floral vines were added to frame the headboard.

Second,  faux wainscoting panels were created to match the existing empire furniture: blue faux bois  with painted plaster relief festoons in the center of each panel.

Finally, the intricate headboard was created by us and then hand painted with exaggerated swirls and shells and  painted blue and white to match the distressed faux panels.
